Being connected with yourself, the job at hand and others around you can be a real challenge in a busy world where, sometimes, it feels like you’ve got a million things to do. When we stop and take a little time to prepare and think about our goals, we make a stronger connection with what we’re doing and the people around us. Stronger connection means knowing ourselves, knowing what we’re doing and building relationships with people in all parts of our lives.
To connect with ourselves and our identity we must develop a healthy sense of self. But what does this mean and how do we do it?

Goals propel us forward, help us believe in ourselves and encourage us to live every day to the fullest. When we set goals we should try to be SMART:
S - specific, significant, stretching
M - measurable, meaningful, motivational
A - agreed upon, attainable, achievable, acceptable, action-oriented
R - realistic, relevant, reasonable, rewarding, results-oriented
T - time-based, time-bound, timely, tangible, trackable
